We are passionate about improving the dining experience in care homes and are looking for chefs who share our commitment to quality and care.

We are currently recruiting talented and compassionate Chefs to join our team and work in various care homes across Yorkshire, including; Leeds, York, Halifax, Bradford, Wakefield and Huddersfield

As a Care Home Chef, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and cooking nutritious, balanced meals tailored to the dietary requirements of residents, including those with special dietary needs.
• Creating menus that are both appealing and meet nutritional guidelines.
• Managing kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Working closely with care home staff to ensure residents' dietary needs and preferences are met.
• Leading and supervising kitchen staff, where applicable.

Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a chef, ideally with experience in a care home, healthcare, or similar setting.
• Knowledge of dietary needs and nutrition, especially in relation to elderly care.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations, and allergen management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel between care homes as required.
